*Rounds are played immediately when available.
**All finals will be played immediately after semi-finals
*** Captains are required to confirm player attendance 15 minutes before the start of their first tie.
**** Captains are required to submit their line-up 15 minutes before their tie.

[TOURNAMENT FORMAT]
-Maximum 12x Teams Tournament of 6x to 8x players.
-Each team must consist of a minimum of 2x Females and 4x Males players.
-Ties are best of 5x matches: 2x Men's Doubles, 1x Women's Doubles, and 2x Mixed Doubles.
-Each match will follow standard BWF, players are expected to officiate their own games.
-Teams may bench players at their own discretion.
-The same pair cannot play twice in the same tie.
- Players may only play a maximum of 2 matches in the same tie.
- Only registered & confirmed players may participate in the tournament.
-All players are required to play in at least one tie in order to qualify for Semi-Finals and beyond.
-In pool play, #1 continues in A, #2 in B, and #3 in C flight Semi-Finals.
-2x dozen of Tournament Grade shuttle will be provided per team.
[GAMES FORMAT]
-Best of 3 games, Rally points system to 21 per set (Cap at 30).
-Standard BWF rules and regulation, players are expected to officiate their own games.
-During Round Robins, coaching is only allowed between sets.
-In Semi-Finals and Finals, coaching is permitted at 11 pts interval and between sets.
-In the event of a dispute, Tournament Organizer's decision is final.
- Only tournament grade feather shuttlecocks are permitted for the tournament.
-- We ask all players to bring tournament grade shuttles to every game. Such as but not limited to:
- Chaopai: Pink or better
- Yonex AS10 or better
- Aeroplane Green or better
- RSL #5 or better
- Victor Green or better
- Li-Ning 90+ or better
- Otherwise, the shuttles must be labelled as tournament grade.
[AS PER ONTARIO COVID-19 GUIDELINE]
While the Ontario government issued covid-19 guidelines restrictions have loosened, the health and safety of all our participants comes first. Therefore, our tournament rules & regulations may change according to the government recommendation and guidelines.
Due to the sheer number of players and spectators expected at the venue, everyone is required to wear a face mask except when they are competing on court.
Temperature and health attestation must be completed prior to entering the venue for all players, coaches, guardians, and spectators. Please ensure you present yourself to the Control Desk prior to entering the court areas.
In the event that the tournament is cancelled due to government restrictions, we will refund all entry fees in full.
[HOUSE KEEPING]
- We recommend all players and spectators to only bring essentials to the tournament as seating space will be limited.
- Only sports drink and water will be allowed in the facility. All food and other breverages must be consummed in the lobby our outside the club.
- Every registered and attendance-confirmed player will be receiving a Super Shirt. While sizes and stocks may be limited, it will be on a first come first serve basis for sizes. Until further notice, we will not be able to change sizes.
- We will be selling additional Super Shirts throughout the day, subject to availability after 1:00pm

--Shirts will be open for purchase after 12:00pm (lunch) on Saturday .
[CONTROL DESK]
-Court 1 will be taken down for the Control Desk & additional seating spaces.
-A public-accessible computer will be available for people who would like to look and consult the draw.
-Please save the link to our tournament draw list available via Google Drive. All results will be updated live through it.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION:

$400/team

March 21st to April 24th, 2022
$450/team

All teams will be seeded at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
- Withdrawal before registration is closed is subject to a $100 admin fee.
- Withdrawal after registration is closed cannot be refunded.

[TOURNAMENT WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY]
All participants assume all risks, damages, and loss during the tournaments.
-Players under the age of 19 will need to present themselves at the control desk with their guardian during sign-in. Guardian's contact information will be required.
-Players needs to be 13 years of age or above to participate in the tournament.
[PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO CONSENT]
**By registering for this tournament, you agree to permit photographs and video to be taken of you for uses related to public promotion of UNLTD BADMINTON.

UNLTD BADMINTON, the organizer, reserves the right to make modification to the tournament without prior notice.
